What we do

Community Garden

We’ve named our community garden Gardd Heddwch — Welsh for Peace Garden

It’s a shared space for growing, learning, and wellbeing.

Our garden and gardening activities bring people together to connect, share skills, and enjoy being outdoors. You can take home plants, vegetables, and flowers, or grow them right here in the garden. Alongside fresh produce, the garden offers a real sense of achievement and a deeper connection to nature.

Through Gardd Heddwch:

  • People gain valuable volunteering experience and boost their CVs
  • People learn new skills and share their knowledge with others
  • The community can access affordable, good-quality food
  • Wellbeing is supported through nature, connection, and community
  • Peace Kitchen uses fresh ingredients grown here for the hub and our events

As the garden continues to grow into an urban micro-agricultural space, we’re excited to host events and workshops here too. We’re also creating a small wellbeing space with views out towards the surrounding hills — a calm spot to pause and breathe.

We tread gently on the earth here and work closely with wonderful volunteers from Incredible Edible Wrecsam.
