Founder & CEO
Loves creating community events and coming up with new ways to develop the charity. and loves her family and her goats and chickens. Jane founded UareUK in 2015 after she went to North Macedonia and Serbia to help Syrian refugees fleeing the war and regime. Currently studying an MA in Refugee Protection & Forced Migration at University of London. Originally from Liverpool.

Hub Life Lead
Our person-centred HUB lead who has compassion and care for everyone. A trauma informed counsellor, a people champion who lifts others up and embodies our motto of helping people to ‘Thrive not just survive’. Originally from the USA.

Ayda
Women’s Champion and Support
A force of nature! Keeping women included, healthy and connected. She not only cooks the best beans in town, she is also full of beans! Originally from Turkey

Team Support Worker
Heba volunteered so often before she joined us on the team a few hours a week, we hope this role grows! Always happy to help others, Heba is also a cake maker extraordinaire! Originally from Libya

John
Mr Garden!
Our garden guru who grows the biggest marrows in Caia Park. A wealth of botanical knowledge, you can find him at the community garden working his magic. Not only are the marrows locally grown, so is John, coming all the way from Coedpoeth.

Nan
English and storytelling
Nan, our lovely freelancer Nan, who brings words to life in storytelling with our members and informal English. A former BBC journalist who has a Masters in Storytelling, and an ESOL teaching qualification (CELTA). Nan has lived and studied all over but she is another home grown superstar from Wrexham.
